About Us

I started framing in 2017 to help my daughter Katie, a wildlife artist, save some money on her framing costs; I was also approaching retirement from the military, so needed a project to keep me busy. I completed a few framing courses to learn the basics and some advanced techniques, after which I found regular practice, with the right tools, helped me to refine and improve the processes involved to produce the standard of framing I wanted.

I’m fortunate enough to have the space for a workshop in an outbuilding next to my house, which allows me to run everything just a few steps from home. There is enough space in the workshop for working on larger projects and storing materials, as well as hosting one or two customers to attend my Framing Experience Days.

I really enjoy the teaching aspect, leading folk who have never made a frame before through the process of cutting & fixing materials to make their own frame. If you have never made a frame before, or have done so infrequently and want to brush up on your skills, why not come along for a framing day? Click HERE to find out more.
